Hack-it Psychology was set up by Dr Addy Hackett (DPsych, MSc, MSc), to address the needs of anyone who has concerns about their psychological wellbeing with regards to their mental health, work-place functioning or academic functioning.

Hack-it Psychology is a growing consultancy that offers brief, solution-focussed and custom-made psychological interventions for members of the public as well as private and public sector organisations.

Hack-it Psychology works on occasion with a number of highly qualified and dedicated associates who deliver expert advice and support when needed and when appropriate.



About Addy

Addy Hackett Originally from Holland, Addy started her journey into the world of psychology at the University of Utrecht and qualified in 1991. She moved to the UK in 1992 and has been working as a Clinical Psychologist for the National Health Service as well as in Private Practice since 1993. Her knowledge and experience is broad and includes Mental Health Psychology, Physical Health Psychology, Specialist Palliative Care and Learning Disabilities. Addy has developed a particular interest in Neuropsychology which includes the psychological assessment of Neurological Conditions and Neurological Differences, and helping individuals affected by these Disorders and Differences achieve their maximum potential.

Addy is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and is registered with the Health Professions Council. She also holds a Doctorate Degree in Coaching Psychology, a Masters Degree in Health Psychology and diplomas in Directive Hypnotherapy, Indirect Hypnotherapy, Neuro-linguistic Programming and EMDR for Trauma Treatment.
