Confidentiality
We adhere to the code of ethics and conduct set by the British Psychological Society (2009), which is based on Respect, Competence, Responsibility and Integrity.

We keep all personal information confidential and adhere to the Data Protection Act (1998)

We will only pass on information to a 3rd party (usually as a report) when requested to do so and only with consent of the client. Disclosure without the consent of a client will only happen if we are legally bound to do so (for instance when there is a risk to self or others or in case of child protection issues).

In case a client objects to disclosure of certain topics in a report, he/she must make this clear prior to the report being written.

Cancellation of booked sessions
In case you cancel: In case a booked session needs to be cancelled, as much notice as possible needs to be given in order to allow for re-allocation of the appointment slot. If there is less than 48 hours notice the full price of the appointment will be charged and payment will be due within 10 working days.

Payment
Private Payment: The payment for each consultation should be made either at the start or at the end of the session by cash or cheque.

Payment through Insurance: When using a private health care provider to pay for all or part of the fee it is the client's responsibility to check with the insurer how much will be covered by them. If the insured sum is less than the fee it is the client's responsibility to pay the remainder of the fee owed.

Corporate Payment: When Hack-it Psychology Services are requested by corporate organisations an invoice will be sent to the contact person and payment will be expected within 28 days.
